National Improvement Framework. What is it? Why is it important to my child's education?

This is the Scottish Government's vision for education, and the basis, alongside:

  • developing the 4 capacities  of Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors
  • within a context of ensuring that all adults in a child's life work together to ensure that they are Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Responsible, Respected and Included.

Each session, Dunbeg Primary's School Improvement Planning takes these concepts and uses national and local priorities, as well as feedback from our pupils, parents, partners and staff to develop key priorities for OUR school and how to achieve them.
